Medicaid

Medicaid rules are changing soon

Everyone will need to renew their coverage starting in April to keep it. If you are enrolled in Medicaid, HIP, CHIP, Hoosier Healthwise, or Hoosier Care Connect, it only takes 10 minutes to make certain your information is up to date with the state.

Here's what you can do now:

Update your info
Updates to your address, phone, or email can be made by calling or faxing documentation to the Indiana Family & Social Services Administration (FSSA) at 1-800-403-0864 or going to a local office. If you need help updating your information or finding a local office, call 2-1-1.

Report changes to your income

If your income has changed since you applied to Medicaid, make sure to send

updated information (such as paystubs or an employer’s statement) to FSSA.

Check your mail

Sift through all that junk mail, so you don’t miss an important note from FSSA! If

you get mail from FSSA, read it carefully. If you get a request for a renewal,

make sure you complete and submit it by the deadline.
